Completing this program awards you up to a Mandatory 10% Insurance Discount. Additionally, you may have up to 4 points reduced off your driving record.
To have your points reduced, they must have been received within 18 months prior to taking our course. Points acquired furthur back than 18-months, or any traffic violations received after you complete our course, are not eligible.
The NY State DMV defines “point reduction” in a particular way: the points or records of violations are not removed from your driving record, but rather any reduced points are not counted toward suspension or revocation of your driver’s license.
Once you have completed our Online Defensive Driving Course, or taken it in one of our Classrooms, we will notify the DMV. They will reduce your points appropriately and it will reflect on your driving record.
